Huron East Tours & Trails Campaign Design
Collaborating with the esteemed Economic Development Office, I had the privilege of spearheading the design of a comprehensive 40-page booklet showcasing the rich local history of Seaforth and Brussels. Complementing this endeavour is a meticulously crafted rack card, presenting enticing day trip ideas to visitors. This project delves deep into the historical tapestry of Brussels, Vanastra, and Seaforth in Huron East, offering a captivating overview of these culturally significant locales.
At the heart of this project lies a commitment to accessibility and readability, particularly catering to the elderly demographic in the region. Every design choice was carefully influenced by this consideration, ensuring that the history for each stop is presented clearly and legibly. Moreover, the booklet was designed with ergonomics in mind, prioritizing comfort for readers as they immerse themselves in the rich narratives of the area.
Within the pages of the booklet, readers are guided by colour-coded mini-maps, facilitating easy navigation through different routes and stops in each locality. Accompanied by a treasure trove of historical photographs and concise blurbs, each location comes to life, shedding light on its significance in the broader historical landscape. By seamlessly blending visual elements with informative content, this project offers a captivating and engaging journey through the annals of Brussels, Vanastra, and Seaforth.
This portfolio piece stands as a testament to my dedication to inclusive design practices, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or background, can comfortably explore and appreciate the rich history of their community.
This project was released alongside the Social Media Discover Campaign.
